Italian teen heartthrobs IL VOLO release IL VOLO - Christmas Favorites! The five song EP includes "Silent Night" and the German version "Stille Nacht," "Panis Angelicus," "The Christmas Song" featuring Pia Toscano (of American Idol fame) and a medley of classic Christmas songs including "Jingle Bell Rock," "Let It Snow" and "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year."

Il Volo are a phenomenon, no question about it. Their voices are straordinario, and their stage presence has been amazing from the beginning. This EP is clearly designed to break them free of the "3 little boys who sing really well" mold, does exactly that. It's very romantic, and very, very Italian, and mature. Their voices are just as remarkable as they've always been, but they've stepped out of that little boy niche. The video for Grand Amore (check YouTube) is witty and romantic, and makes it clear that these guys are men now. Each of them steps out of their vocal mold in these songs as well. Piero is more than a power singer, Ignazio can grind out the lower notes with passion, and Gianluca can reach higher notes than we sometimes realize, but still with that velvety quality to his voice.
