"Missa Gratiatoria" was composed on the occasion of 35th anniversary of the Academic Choir of the Gdansk University, its premiere took place during the gala concert on September 16, 2006 year at the Baltic Philharmonic. The composer, Polish jazz prodigy Leszek Mozdzer, selected one of the oldest musical forms - the Mass, and once again proved his extraordinary talents and intuition. The composition consist of eight separate although stylistically homogeneous parts that often refers to composer's jazz experience. Big applause for the choir, conductor (who also performs a vocal solo!), and of course for the excellent jazz musicians. ---Editorial Reviews
