Contemporary Noise Quintet was formed in Bydgoszcz (one of the centre of Polish experimental jazz fusion "yass" movement) by brothers Kapsa (Bartek - percussion and Kuba - piano) after their former emo/hardcore/post-rock band Something Like Elvis was disbanded in 2003. Band's music was energetic mix of contemporary jazz, improves and film music. Debut album "Pig Inside The Gentleman" was released in autumn 2006.

After some changes in line-up, band became Sextet, having on board next musicians (besides of Kapsa brothers): Tomek Glazik - saxophones (Kult, ex-4Syfon, Sing, Sing Penelope), Wojtek Jahna - trumpet (Sing, Sing Penelope, Mordy) and the guitar player Kamil Pater who joined the band in November 2006 and lately Patryk Weclawek (bass) who replaced Pawel Urowski.

Band's second album ("Theatre Play Music", 2008) was recorded as musical piece for one of Warsaw theatre and released by Contemporary Noise Quartet ( Kapsa brothers, Kamil Pater (guitar) and Patryk Węcławek (vert. bass)). Third and last to time band's album "Unaffected Thought Flow" was released later same year, but in full line-up (as Sextet). Combining very professionally played contemporary jazz, melodic film music with some chamber elements, improvisations and brass arrangement, Contemporary Noise Sextet is one of the leading Polish modern progressive fusion band. ---Slava (Snobb), progarchives.com

Ta płyta zespołu to krążek z muzyką napisaną specjalnie do spektaklu „Miłość ci wszystko wybaczy“ w reżyserii Przemysława Wojcieszka.

--- wsm.serpent.pl
